Found this neat little online app which allows you to record what is happening onscreen and upload it to you tube etc..

I have used smart board recorder , but it really slowed down my computer, so will give this a go
Immediate thoughts
1.To show how to open or download a program
2.Recording children / or teacher demonstrating a written method in maths
3. Demonstrating how to edit a piece of work ( including the thought processes)
4.Introducing children to a choice of websites to use to complete a task.
5.Children to make their own and the write out as instructional text.
Just some thoughts might come up with more later
