Some interesting thoughts there . I do think that being playful and approaching sometimes mundane tasks with a bit of humour or creativity helps. If I am enjoying what I am doing then the kids seem to as well.
Of course this shouldn't beat the expense of behaviour ( In the past I have tended to wind up the kids and struggled to bring them back down...You have to build up the element of respect first)
As my thoughts turn to September and getting back to school . I am looking forward to bringing a little playfulness into my classroom.
